How cancellations work across NATKA bookings, with the property-specific terms for each. Last updated: 2026-04-16.

What this page covers

The cancellation terms that apply to bookings at the three NATKA properties — Hotel Boutique Natka, Bella Natka, and Villa Natka. Terms vary by the rate plan you select at booking. The widget or the OTA confirms the exact terms that apply to your specific reservation; this page is a plain-language summary.

How rate plans work

Each NATKA property is bookable under different rate plans. The names vary slightly between Booking.com and our Rentlio booking widget; the substance is the same.

Standard rate (flexible)

The most flexible option. Free cancellation up to a stated number of days before arrival. After that cut-off, one or more nights are charged. The exact cut-off is shown at the time of booking and on your confirmation email.

Best Available rate

Mid-tier. Some flexibility, lower price. Cancellation terms typically tighter than the standard rate. Shown at the time of booking.

Non-refundable rate

The lowest price. Payment is charged at booking. No refund on cancellation, no refund on no-show, no refund on early check-out. Choose this rate only if your dates are firm.

The exact cancellation cut-off, charge amount, and any modification fees are confirmed at the moment of booking — and printed on your booking confirmation email. Always read the rate-plan terms before you confirm.


Cancellations made via Booking.com

If you booked through Booking.com, cancellations and modifications are handled through your Booking.com account or via the Booking.com customer service. The terms shown to you at booking are the ones Booking applies. We see the cancellation in our system; we don't override Booking's terms.

Cancellations made via our Rentlio booking widget

If you booked direct through the Rentlio widget on a NATKA property page, cancellations are handled by us. Email or call us with your reservation number; we'll confirm the cancellation and any refund per the rate plan you selected.

Force majeure and exceptional circumstances

For situations outside the standard cancellation framework — serious illness, bereavement, government travel restrictions, natural disasters — get in touch directly. We handle these case-by-case and try to find something fair.

No-show

A no-show without prior cancellation is treated as a cancellation under the strictest terms of the rate plan you booked. Where the rate is non-refundable, the full booking is charged. Where the rate has a partial penalty, the penalty applies.

Early check-out

If you leave earlier than your booked check-out date, the full reservation amount is typically charged. Where this differs (off-season flexibility, multi-week stays), we'll confirm at the property.


Hotel Boutique Natka

Three rate plans are available: Standard, Best Available, and Non-refundable. Specific cut-off windows and penalties depend on the dates booked and are shown in the widget at the time of booking and on your confirmation email.

Bella Natka

Three rate plans are available across the three room types: Standard, Best Available, and Non-refundable. The Old Town setting carries the same cancellation framework as our other properties; specific cut-offs depend on dates and rate plan selected.

Villa Natka

Whole-villa rentals work slightly differently from per-room bookings. In high season the villa typically requires a multi-night minimum (commonly 5–7 nights); cancellation cut-offs may be longer than at the B&B properties to reflect that the whole house is held off market for your dates.

Tourist tax (boravišna pristojba)

Croatian tourist tax is collected per person per night at check-in (or via the OTA, depending on the channel). It is a statutory charge and is not refundable on cancellation or no-show — it is only charged for nights actually stayed.


Modifications

To change a confirmed reservation (dates, names, room type, guest count), please contact us as early as possible. We try to accommodate changes within the rate-plan terms. Some changes may not be possible on non-refundable rates.
