Cobblestone Grisia street with painted doors — Rovinj Old Town atmosphere

Volume III · Discover Rovinj

A small set of guides for the curious.

Six guides to the place we call home, written by the family.

Why we wrote these guides

Rovinj is a former Venetian fishing town on the western coast of Istria.

The Old Town sits on what was once an island, with the bell tower of St. Eufemija rising above terracotta rooftops that fall into the Adriatic. There is a lot written about the place online; most of it is repeated from the same source, in the same order.

We wrote these guides for guests who would rather hear it from someone who walks the streets every morning. Our family has run businesses in Rovinj for generations — the recommendations come from that, not from a press kit.
